Restaurants Wire covers the restaurant industry as a business: openings and closures, chain expansion and franchising, food supply costs, hospitality staffing, delivery platform economics, and the licensing and hygiene regime operators work inside.

We write for people who run restaurants and for people who supply, finance or report on them. That means unit economics, lease terms, contract lengths and rota structures rather than reviews or recommendations. We do not rate restaurants and we do not publish betting odds, tips or predictions of any kind.
